Masami Shimoda (11eyes) is helming the anime movie at Ruin of day. Katsuhiko Takayama (Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) is to blame of the screenplay. Akihiko Yamashita (Abnormal Ruin of day), Tatsuya Suzuki (Kakumeiki Valvrave), and Marie Tagashira (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) are designing the characters. Ayako Otsuka (Aquarion Evol) is composing the music.
The distinctive Zegapain anime series aired in 26 episodes in Spring 2006. The story follows Kyou Sogoru, an long-established excessive college student who is led by a mysterious transfer student, Misaki Shizuno, and gets fascinated with a warfare towards broad robots in any other world.
The Zegapain ADP abstract movie opened in Japan in October 2016. The movie, that contains new scenes, commemorated the anime’s 10th anniversary.
