The Boy and the Heron Nabs 2nd Oscar for Hayao Miyazaki

It was up towards some stiff opponents, however the most recent film from Studio Ghibli has officially secured director Hayao Miyazaki his 2d Oscar. The 96th Academy Awards is for the time being airing, and the award for Simplest Bright Characteristic went to Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron.

The Boy and the Heron was up towards Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Nimona, Elemental and Robot Wishes.

After losing his mom all around the battle, young Mahito moves to his family’s estate within the countryside. When Mahito’s recent stepmother disappears, he follows the grey heron into the tower, and enters an unheard of world shared by the living and the ineffective. As he embarks on an story hotfoot with the heron as his data, Mahito must say the secrets of this world, and the fact about himself. Featuring the voices of Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Tag Hamill, Robert Pattinson and Florence Pugh.
