Amongst the mountainous packages Kier is on the hunt for corporations to converse a £35m earthworks, £18m drainage and £15m pavement works.
Additionally it is attempting to search out suppliers of bridge bearings, prefabricated vertical drains, non permanent CCTV circuits, offers checking out and ground and groundwater monitoring services and products.
The 3.4-mile arrangement will enhance the connection between two dual carriageway sections of the A417 at Brockworth and Cowley, and links between the M4 and M5.
Primary aspects of A417 arrangement
Work involves:
• a brand new junction at Ullenwood, connecting the A417 to the A436 and Leckhampton Hill;
• a brand new junction with streak roads at Shab Hill;
• a brand new junction on the Cowley roundabout;
• diversion of the Cotswold Means National Path through a brand new overbridge;
• diversion of the Gloucestershire Means long distance footpath through a brand new plants and fauna crossing bridge;
• construction of overbridges at Cowley and Stockwell; and • various panorama, non permanent construction and earn admission to works.
