The true net space of the new television anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi‘s Urusei Yatsura (These Inappropriate Aliens) manga revealed on Thursday further cast, workers, first key visual (pictured), and a first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on Fuji TV’s noitaminA block in four cours in October 2022.

Yuuko Kakihara (Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara) is facing the sequence composition and Naoyuki Asano (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!) is designing the characters.
Takahashi serialized the sci-fi romantic comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Sunday from 1978 to 1987 and compiled into 35 volumes. Shogakukan later reprinted the sequence in 15 extensive-ban volumes in 1989–1990, 18 bunkoban volumes in 1998–1999, and 35 shinsoban volumes in 2006–2008.
