Jarren Duran wins MLB All-Megastar Game MVP in AL victory, one-usaShohei Ohtani with hunch-forward house speed

Jarren Duran‘s first All-Megastar Game was a rousing success.

The Boston Red Sox outfielder hit a hunch-forward, two-speed house speed and was named All-Megastar MVP on Tuesday in a 5-3 AL raise over the NL.

The NL struck first, thanks to a huge, three-speed house speed from Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani in the third inning.

The AL rallied to tie the sport in the bottom of the third with a two-speed double from Juan Soto and a single from David Fry that scored Soto from 2d. Neither team plated a speed in the fourth sooner than Duran struck for the AL in the fifth.

With two outs and Anthony Santander on first, Duran launched an 0-1 splitter from Hunter Greene deep into the lovely-field stands.

The 2-speed shot gave the AL a 5-3 lead that stood because the final rating. AL pitching held the NL scoreless for the final six innings, allowing flame-throwing Oakland A‘s reliever Mason Miller to take up the raise with a single scoreless inning pitched.

The house speed was Duran’s easiest hit of the night in two at-bats, but it completely was ample to salvage the MVP trophy.

The award highlights a breakout marketing campaign for Duran in his fourth MLB season. The 27-one year-ancient entered the All-Megastar game slashing .284/.342/.477 with 10 house runs, 41 RBI and 22 stolen bases. His 27 doubles and 10 triples are the most in the AL. Better known for his velocity, he got the job done with his vitality on baseball’s most interesting midseason stage.
