A handful of different 49ers couldn’t return, either, alongside side defensive end Samson Ebukam (Indianapolis Colts), defensive model out Maurice Hurst (Cleveland Browns), defensive end Charles Omenihu (Kansas City Chiefs) and defensive model out Hassan Ridgeway (Texans).

But luckily for Kittle and his 49ers teammates who weren’t in the marketplace this offseason, there are loads of gamers they’ll welcome help in 2023, delight in middle Jake Brendel and security Tashaun Gipson.
