dance roots with Clouds, an emotionally raw music video unveiling a mighty scurry
of healing and metamorphosis.
“In increasing this video I reclaimed my art, my memoir, and myself,” says Fiona. “It shows
rebirth thru shedding ineffective layers and blossoming into one’s most sensible seemingly version.
Increasing up dancing for over 10 years, I in fact feel at home returning to this divine expression,
inspired by my mountainous-grandmother, Evangeline Shuler, who danced except she become 106.
My sound bowls are also interwoven for the length of the manufacturing, enhancing healing
thru sound and circulation.”
Directed by Fiona Maura and OTNES, Clouds is a personal reflection of Fiona’s memoir,
the utilization of hauntingly provocative visuals to evoke the deep layers of human expertise. Shot
by Ives Salbert, the cozy video capabilities shiny choreography that symbolizes
energy and charm in releasing trauma and embracing renewal. Salbert’s vibrant
lights heightens the mood of every and each scene, amplifying the passionate efficiency.
Choreographed by infamous dancer William Harris III (So You Recount You Can Dance),
the unheard of dance duet between Fiona and William captures the emotional turbulence of
a corrosive connection. Produced by Shane Weisman and written by Fiona Maura and
