The Union Cupboard, chaired by Top Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday (August 9) permitted the Clear Plant Programme (CPP), an initiative proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

With an funding of ₹1,765.67 crore, the Clear Plant Programme goals to revolutionise India’s horticulture sector by making improvements to the quality and productiveness of fruit crops throughout the nation.
