Dr. Abbas Khan, the CEO and Founder of A2Z Dental Group (www.a2z.dental), is taking philanthropy to new heights through his initiative, “Bright Smiles for Bright Future.” Dr. Khan and his team are reaching out to homeless shelters in the areas of Western Massachusetts and Connecticut to provide education about the importance of oral health and its implications on general health.
The initiative includes teaching brushing and flossing techniques and distributing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and educational pamphlets. In an interview with Dr. Khan, he explained that the objective of the program is to impart oral health practices to those who cannot afford them.
Dr. Khan’s commitment to improving oral health in his community is not new. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association (ADA). He is also a Fellow and Master for the American Association of Implant Prosthodontics (FAAIP and MAAIP) and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Through “Bright Smiles for Bright Future,” Dr. Khan is continuing his mission to improve access to quality oral healthcare in his community. His dedication to this cause is commendable, and is making a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
